Older Comments about the Coffee Pot

"The Coffee Pot used to be called El Matador. It was the hippest coffee bar in town in the early to mid 1970s - the young and beautiful used to meet there to drink frothy coffee out of glass cups and saucers and play a killer juke box. I havent been inside since then but on the outside it doesn't look like it's changed much." - Luke [Feb 2008]

"Good plain snack food, nothing fancy. Friendly service." - Regular Customer [Sep 2007]

"Really cosy feel. Lovely staff. Tea and coffee and cappuccino and hot chocolate, cakes and sandwiches made daily. Old fashioned cafe." - Anon
