My husband and i walked the coastal path from Clarach Bay to Borth after
arriving we went in the lifeboat staion and the cafe for something to eat
before we caught the bus back to Aber.It was fantastic, hairy in some places
and we loved climbing up the steep hills(mountains to us)and what made it
so special was the fact that my husband recently had a hip operation. This
did him the world of good.
We hope to come back in the future.
Coastal Walk
Rock formations north of Clarach
From the top of Constitution Hill runs a well-trafficked path all the way to the coastal resort of Borth.
The coastal path runs for five miles right along the coast and makes for a very pleasant walk, if you don't mind one or two hills.
Finding the Route
At the Aberystwyth end, the path starts at the summit of Constitution Hill. The path is easy to find, running past the restaurant and signposted clearly.
Planning Your Walk
The walk can be completed within two hours. If you're walking in one direction only, you can complete the circuit by taking either the train or 512 bus between Borth and Aberystwyth.

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Aberystwyth and walking on the
coastal path is one of many things we enjoy in this area.
